Based in London, Cathie Sherning is the founder of Private VA. An experienced senior PA and event planner, born and educated in England, she has lived and worked in both the UK and New Zealand.
Her professional career has included experience within international organisations, charitable ventures, private and public education, new business startups and luxury interior design. In addition to the traditional PA and event management skills she has successfully managed projects in marketing, publishing, database management, compliance review and fundraising as well as having trained and worked as a professional cook.
Private VA is an extension of this experience, combining practical skills and knowledge with professional expertise to provide efficient, personal assistance to clients who require a discreet, reliable PA service to help with specific projects, day to day professional support and the ability to act responsibly for them in their absence.
